On June 15th, BMW China Innovation Day was held at the BMW Brand Experience Center and the newly unveiled BMW Group Shanghai R&D Center. The event showcased the latest developments in the BMW Group's open innovation, digital services, autonomous driving and automotive design. Dr. Shao Ruting, Senior Vice President of R&D Center of BMW (China) Service Co., Ltd. attended the unveiling ceremony of BMW Group Shanghai R&D Center.

The opening of the Shanghai R&D Center is another important milestone after the unveiling of the Beijing R&D Center and the second phase of the Shenyang Power Battery Center last month. The BMW Group has also implemented another important milestone in the “China for China” local R&D strategy, marking the BMW Group’s China's innovation and research and development network is further enhanced. BMW attaches great importance to China's leading position in the field of innovation, continuously increases local R&D investment, and plays China's role as a driving force for innovation.

6月15日，宝马中国创新日分别在BMW品牌体验中心和新揭幕的宝马集团上海研发中心举办。本次活动展示了宝马集团在开放式创新科技、数字化服务、自动驾驶和汽车设计方面的最新发展。宝马（中国）服务有限公司研发中心高级副总裁邵儒廷博士参加了宝马集团上海研发中心揭幕仪式。

上海研发中心的揭幕，是继上个月北京研发中心揭幕和沈阳动力电池中心二期奠基之后，宝马集团深刻践行 “在中国为中国”本土研发战略的又一重要里程碑，标志着宝马集团在中国创新研发网络的进一步提升。宝马高度重视中国在创新领域的领先地位，不断加大本土研发投入，发挥中国作为创新驱动力的作用。
